We have had a business in Brentwood for 30 years, 25 years in Crown Street. We look after the “Foot Health” of residents, we also visit the house bound. This is a family run business with myself & daughter , helped by 3 part-time employed Chiropodists. We also give a service 8 of the Local Nursing Homes, and the Community Hospital.
I was told about the Brentwood Chamber by one of my patients, I would like to promote and maybe expand my business as this will be beneficial to the residents of Brentwood. We are very local and do not work outside the Brentwood area.
We’re a Cricket club based in Brentwood, Essex whose First XI currently play in the Shephard Neame Essex League Premier Division which represents the highest level of Amateur cricket in England.
Founded in 1881 the club has a rich history and its association with Essex County Cricket Club has always been close. County and other representative cricket has been regularly played at the ground over the past 140 years. Several England players have worn the Club’s colours down the years, most recently Sky Sports’ Cricket Commentator Nick Knight and Gavin Hamilton. We also have the honour of being able to name numerous International players that have played for us, including West Indies stars Shane Shillingford, Darren Sammy and Jason Holder, and Indian ODI player Hrishikesh Kanitkar.
In addition to our successes at the upper end of the Amateur game, we pride ourselves in offering cricket to all ages, abilities and levels of experience. As such, we currently field four Saturday teams with plans for a fifth in 2016. This is in addition to our Colts section which caters for young cricketers aged from 5 through to 19, many of whom go onto play adult cricket for the club.

The Brentwood Festival has grown into a the borough’s premier summer entertainment event.
Hosted every July on the grounds of the Brentwood Centre, crowds of 10,000+ gather over 3 days for a weekend of music, food and beer.
Sponsored by fellow Chamber member, the Brentwood Brewing Company, the festival raises funds for a variety of local charities.
The Brentwood Leisure Trust is a not for profit leisure and entertainment company that operates seven venues in Brentwood and its surrounding areas. All surpluses that we make goes towards improving our facilities and your experience.

We are the Brentwood Sunday Football League, Founded in 1960, the oldest affiliated league in Essex.
A not for profit organisation, consisting of 8 committee members and over 1,000 members, including players, referees, supporters, club associates and supporting businesses.
Over 45 teams participate in the league that are in, or very close to the Brentwood Borough.
With myself as new Vice Chairman of the League, it would seem appropriate for us combine our large membership with that of the Chamber of Commerce.
- Why you/your company wish to join Brentwood Chamber ?
It seems prudent that the Brentwood Sunday Football League joining would benefit all of the committee, players, referees, support staff and businesses alike in the Brentwood Borough. Each team has over 25 people associated with them and we currently have 47 teams spread over 4 Divisions.
For 60 years as an Essex FA affiliated league, my opinion is that all of the 1000+ people should be benefitting from not only the sponsorship opportunities in our 60th year, but beyond. All the goods and services from your current Chamber members should be advertised to our members so that they, the league and the chamber benefits, alike.
- How you heard of the Chamber ?
I have been a resident of Brentwood for 43 years, associated with the Brentwood Sunday Football League for 23 of those. I have only just been elected the Vice Chairman and I knew of the great opportunities that the Chamber & the League can benefit from. I was aware of the Chamber for many years.
